Chad C. Jensen, CRPC®
Wealth Advisor
After volunteering for two years as a service missionary in Guatemala, Chad pursued a degree in finance and was accepted into the prestigious Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. While attending college, he worked steadily to support himself and his wife as a loan officer and was awarded scholarships that allowed him to graduate debt-free.
In 2004, Chad was recruited by Merrill Lynch in Southern California, where he began his career managing wealth for high-net-worth families, corporations, and charitable organizations. During Merrill Lynch’s rigorous interview process, he was warned that more than 90% of new trainees fail within the first two years. Determined to defy the odds, Chad quickly advanced—earning designations as a Certified Financial Manager and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. After completing the firm’s training program ahead of schedule and gaining years of valuable experience, Chad realized that in order to eliminate conflicts of interest and truly act in his clients' best interests, he needed to operate independently.
With that vision, and a desire to return home to family and the striking red rock landscapes of Southern Utah, Chad founded Cornerstone Wealth Management in 2008. While maintaining relationships with clients across the country and around the world, he has cultivated lasting relationships and earned the trust of clients throughout St. George as a fiduciary —particularly in areas such as SunRiver, Entrada, and Stone Cliff.
Today, Chad specializes in comprehensive fee based retirement and estate planning, as well as corporate 401(k) and defined benefit strategies. Drawing on his background serving sophisticated, high-net-worth individuals, he helps families plan and pursue their financial goals with confidence. Chad holds his Series 7 and 24 through LPL Financial, his Series 66 through Western Wealth Management, and is licensed in Life and Long-Term Care Insurance, allowing him to provide holistic, customized financial advice tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Chad lives in Santa Clara, Utah with his wife of 24 years, Brooke. Together, they are raising six children—ranging from college to elementary school—and Chad considers his family to be his greatest accomplishment. Outside of the office, you’ll find him coaching youth sports, attending dance recitals or piano performances, camping, hunting, or enjoying time at the beach and Lake Powell. A proud Eagle Scout himself, Chad remains active in the Boy Scouts of America, mentoring young men on their journey to earning the Eagle rank.
Chad feels truly fortunate to live and work in such a vibrant, supportive community. He remains actively engaged through volunteer service with his church and various local nonprofit organizations. At the heart of everything he does are the values that have guided him from the beginning: always do what’s right for others, never stop learning, and never stop working."
